Won't the replies sound like a bot wrote them?
The AI writes from the transcript of the commented video, your channel persona, and the replies you've already given — each reply is specific to the comment and references what was said in the video when it makes sense. You can edit any reply before publishing, and the AI learns from your adjustments.
What if the AI says something wrong in my name?
The Revisor, a second independent AI, checks every draft before you see it and blocks the serious stuff: invented facts, promises in your name, links you didn't provide. Sensitive comments like controversy or legal matters are never answered automatically; they wait for your decision. Still, no AI is infallible on niche details or opinion, so you always have the final say: review before publishing, or turn on auto-send only for the categories and videos you choose. When something slips, just fix the reply and leave the AI an instruction, and it follows that from then on instead of repeating the mistake.
Do I lose control over what gets published?
No. By default, nothing is published without your approval. Autopilot is optional: you enable it video by video, set a daily limit and a minimum quality score, and turn it off whenever you want.
How is this different from YouTube Studio's own reply suggestions?
Studio groups comments and suggests short, generic replies. RespondEngage goes further: it watches your videos (via transcript), knows your links and coupons, writes in the tone it learned from you, runs every reply through the Reviewer, prioritizes the queue by intent and risk, and turns comments into content-idea reports. Layers the native suggestion doesn't have.
Does YouTube allow this?
Yes. RespondEngage uses the official YouTube API and publishes from your own account, with the authorization you grant at Google sign-in. You can revoke that access at any time, straight from your Google account.
How is the plan metered?
By the new comments your channel receives per month — not by replies sent. Your channel's volume determines the right plan. At the limit, comments keep arriving and AI analysis pauses until next month (or you upgrade on the spot).
Is there a free plan? Do I need a card?
Yes. You start on the free plan, no card: up to 150 comments per month (about 5 a day) with the full product in basic mode. When you need more volume or features like auto-send and customization, you move up a plan.
Does it work for Portuguese-language channels?
That's where it's best. RespondEngage was born in Portuguese, built for Brazilian creators — and replies to each comment in the language it was written in.
What happens to my channel's data?
We keep the minimum, for the shortest time possible: the original text of resolved comments is deleted after about 4 weeks (only the classifications remain), and disconnecting the channel deletes your data after a 14-day grace period.
